We are thrilled to offer our first collaboration with Elizabeth Lake Linens, Famille Verte. Designed by Elizabeth Lake in collaboration with Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, this heirloom placemat and napkin set is the perfect complement to Famille Verte porcelain and so much more.
The scalloped border of the round placemat is embroidered with vines, berries and butterflies in leafy aqua greens, deep rusty reds and cheerful soft yellow tones, reminiscent of those used in traditional famille verte pieces of the Qing Dynasty and perfectly complementing Mottahedeh's luxurious modern reproductions.
The square napkin has a hand appliqué border with a charming accent of leaves and berries in one corner.
Elizabeth Lake linens are made by hand using traditional methods of hand appliqué and embroidery, sustaining these aging crafts for generations to come. The linens are sourced from mills in Belgium, Ireland and Italy, then slowly and lovingly hand-stitched by artisans on the tiny island of Madeira.
Placemat 16" diameter
Napkin 20" square
