The Blue Fluted Mega Dish by Royal Copenhagen has a distinct style of magnified elements hand painted onto the fluted surface. The eye-catching serving dish makes for a contemporary piece, which can be combined with other pieces from Royal Copenhagen for a personal style. Blue Fluted Mega is comfortingly familiar yet surprisingly refreshing. Born from a bold reinterpretation of the iconic pattern of Blue Fluted Plain, Blue Fluted Mega captivates with graphic and magnified sections of the original mussel painted pattern. Since its creation in 2000, Blue Fluted Mega has grown to become a true, new classic in Danish design. The eye-catching collection is beautiful on its own or in combination with other Royal Copenhagen patterns.
The largest collection in Royal Copenhagen, Blue Fluted Mega is made up of a wide range of beautiful and functional pieces. Every piece carries a classic shape and the hand painted, graphic pattern of the loveable collection. With its magnified pattern of flowers and sharp lines designed by Karen Kjældgård-Larsen, Blue Fluted Mega is a bold canvas for a personal table setting.

Refined and hand-crafted Danish porcelain from Royal Copenhagen is as modern in style as it is rooted in history.  For close to 250 years, the traditional artwork of Royal Copenhagen's Danish porcelain has been beloved globally.
When Dowager Queen Julianne Marie set out to safeguard her country’s economy by developing domestic products and services, she became curious about using local raw materials to improve local living conditions.  As monarch, she founded the Royal Porcelain Factory in 1775, now known as the prize-winning Royal Copenhagen.
Every piece produced is identifiable by its factory marks suggested by the Dowager Queen: three blue waves that symbolize Denmark’s three main waterways, the Sound, the Great Belt, and the Little Belt.  The Royal Crown marks the porcelain's royal connection.  The unique artistry and skilled craftsmanship highlighted in each piece show in the dedicated details that only a few can master.  Fine brush strokes and the highest quality glazing contribute to making each piece of Royal Copenhagen a functional masterpiece.
